Soccer Training Facilities
The
Central Florida Soccer Academy's North Carolina Elite Week will take place on the campus of the American Hebrew
Academy located in Greensboro, NC. The Academy boasts one of the top
soccer facilities in the southeast, as noted in Turf Magazine.
The complex contains 2 full size soccer fields, a smaller field for
training and a baseball outfield that can be converted into a soccer
field for game play.
The stadium field can take up to 7 inches of water in a 24 hour
period. All of the fields are fully lighted.

Techincal
Players will receive skill training from elite level staff coaches
during the morning and afternoon sessions. Coaches will use a
variety of drills and games in order to improve footwork, first
touch, passing, trapping, heading and shooting.
Tactical
Players will learn defensive shapes and various attacking schemes
from coaches with an abundance of experience. The afternoon will be
packed with small sided games to work on technique and strategies
while under pressure.
Goalkeeping
Goalkeepers will receive technical training during the morning and
afternoon sessions from the goalkeeper coaches and will be
incorporated into game play at night. Keepers will learn the proper
technique for all types of dives, kicking and distributing. Keepers
will work tactically on crosses, breakaways, angles and
communication.
Competition
The evening session allows an opportunity for players to use their
tactical knowledge, skills and athleticism in full sided games with
a team focus and competitive edge.
Aquatics
Center, Climbing Wall and Gym
During free
time, campers will have an opportunity to use the brand new aquatic
center, climbing wall and state of the art gymnasium.
Campus and
Dormitories
The
American Hebrew Academy is located on a 100 acre campus in Greensboro,
NC. Campers will stay in one of the 16 dormitories on campus and
will eat all meals in the Campus Dining Hall. A camp store selling
drinks and snacks will be available to campers during free time in
the gymnasium.
